Calfee helped setup bamboo bike builders in third world countries. You can now order a bike from there directly. You can get a frame for $425. Hmm…looks like I will be riding my singlespeed bamboo style.

CETMA makes some pretty nice racks for the front of your bike. But what if a rack just isn’t enough, well they have produced their own cargo bike. I don’t know what it is about cargo bikes, but I love them. Somehow, under the massive load carry frame I find them sexy. Maybe because the serve the ultimate purpose of cycling transport. This little folder has been around for ages and still kicking. I have never seen one in person, but found it on http://amsterdamize.com. After doing some research it seems like a nice folder if you are looking for something that is light and easy to carry on and off a bus or train. Personally I would still go with Bike Friday or Dahon, but nothing compares to Strida’s size! Oh and it’s a belt drive…

It’s no secret that I love strange bikes. Okay things with pedals and a saddle I go crazy for. Mini Velos peaked my interest when I first read about them early this year. I have never seen on in person, nor have I ridden one. Hopely that will change in the future.
